I hold a Master of Science degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Prior to my graduation from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL, I worked as a psychiatric nurse with adults struggling with chronic mental health and chemical dependency at Unity Point Health in Sioux City, IA as well as Cherokee Mental Health Institute in Cherokee, IA.
I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment that nurtures every client’s innate potential for optimal health and wellbeing. I believe that the most effective treatment is based upon an understanding and appreciation of you and your life- including your history, values, emotional framework, interpersonal dynamics, life stressors, environment, and physical health. With this knowledge, I aim to partner with you to establish a treatment plan that holistically addresses your needs and goals, both for short-term symptom management and for long-term change.

My practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of:

The structure of my practice limits the scope of clinical services that I am able to provide. Referrals can be provided for a higher level of care if more intensive services are required or recommended.
